“Belkin House is a state-of-the-art, multi-program facility conveniently located in downtown Vancouver. Through a number of programs Belkin House accommodates up to 224 residents. The Food Services Department provides an average of 8000 nutritious and balanced, low-cost meals per month; three meals per day, seven days a week, 365 days per year. They offer group and individual volunteer opportunities in the Food Service Department and Community Development Department, in an environment that is clean, educational, exciting, fun and meaningful for all to experience.” -Volunteer Vancouver Website

Stanley Park-DIRT
DIRT (Dedicated Invasive Removal Team)
Role Description
Join this dedicated group of volunteers and help manage invasive plant species in Stanley Park. SPES has special permission from the Vancouver Park Board to do this work, and submit annual work plans. You will learn about local ecology and conservation issues, take part in hands-on invasive species removal and make an important contribution to habitat conservation and restoration in Stanley Park. Opportunities to develop leadership skills are also available as part of this program.
Yes, we have our general donation page where you can do one time or monthly donations. And it’s not for DIRT but we are currently running a donation matching campaign for our water quality monitoring program in the park. So every dollar donated to that campaign is doubled right now. Any amount helps and I believe you should be able to get a tax receipt for any donations as we are a registered non-profit society.
